Dr. Bruce Dahlman FAAFP MSHPE (Medical Education) began and served nearly half of his over 30+ year career with AIM in Kenya serving as family doctor and medical director for the now 300 bed AIC Kijabe Hospital. While directing the Nairobi-based Institute of Family Medicine, three CHAK Hospitals, Chogoria, Kijabe and Tenwek, initially collaborated with Moi University to begin Kenya’s first post-graduate family medicine program in 2005. Dr. Dahlman is also involved with the Center for Health in Mission (centerforhim.org), the Digital African Health Library (digitalhealthlibrary.net) and Eastern Africa Health Professions Educators’ Association (sites.google.com/site/eamededucators/). He is a founding member of the GMHC Executive Committee.
