Dr. Estifanos Bafa Babulo Thanks MedSend Donors
National Scholar Dr. Estifanos Bafa Babulo grew up in southern Ethiopia in a Christian family who loved and followed Jesus. His family was amazed by his promise at an early age to dedicate his life to serving God. As a child and teenager, Estifanos spent his time making friends with many in his community, using these opportunities to share the love of Jesus Christ with them.
“God has called me to use the gifts and skills He has given me to help and serve others,” Estifanos tells us. “After finishing my college education, I started a job as a general practitioner in my hometown which gave me an opportunity to serve God in my local evangelical church. I had the opportunity to not only share my faith at work, but also organize mission trips with colleagues and lead them to a deeper relationship with God.”
Currently, Estifanos is training to become a surgeon in a Christ-centered residency program in Malawi made possible by MedSend donors. Watch the video below to hear a message of gratitude for his MedSend family!
