Dr. Armah Toko Wilson, a third-year general surgery resident from Bongolo Hospital in Gabon, says he is a living testimony to how God is working through the National Scholars program. He tells us he has incredible passion for medicine because of the life-transforming changes he and his family have experienced through being mentored and cared for by the faculty and administration. He says these past three years have strengthened their faith.

“The support we’re receiving from [MedSend] for my training is enormous, immeasurable, and impactful. I am truly grateful. In addition, your prayers for us are being answered daily. At Bongolo Hospital, we see souls being won to Christ, physical, spiritual and emotional problems are resolved, and lives are transformed for the good. Our faith in Christ is growing. And our surgical, academic and technical skills are on the right trajectory. Finally, my family says thank you so much for your support of my surgery training program. We will forever remain grateful,” Dr. Wilson shares.
