Your privacy is important to us. The following privacy policy will help you understand how Project MedSend (“MedSend”) receives, uses and safeguards the personal information you provide.

MedSend Privacy Policy

MedSend will not sell, rent or lease, share or trade your name or personal information with any other entity, nor send mailings to you on behalf of other organizations unless you have given us specific permission to do so.   This policy applies to all information received by MedSend, both online and offline, on any Platform (“Platform” includes the MedSend website and mobile applications), as well as any electronic, written or oral communications.

With respect to any donations that are processed through MedSend’s third-party service provider, Network for Good, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation.

With respect to preliminary grant applications, applicant information will only be used for purposes related to establishing access to the online grant application process and to keep you informed of MedSend ministry information.

Information We Receive

The personal information that MedSend may receive includes your name, address, city, state, zip code, telephone number, and e-mail address. In the case of online giving, MedSend’s third-party service provider, Network for Good, collects your credit card number and all related information.

How We Collect Information

When you interact with MedSend and/or complete transactions you requested, MedSend collects information:

  • You provide when you request information or materials from our organization;
  • You provide when making an on-line donation;
  • You provide when you apply for a grant;
  • You provide when you wish to share: questions, comments or suggestions;
  • You provide when you request to receive periodic updates;
  • You provide when you sign up as a prayer partner; and
  • Through the use of various online tracking technologies. Collecting information in this manner allows us to obtain statistics about our website’s usage and effectiveness and enables us to better personalize the experience you have while on our or third-party websites you may link to from our website.

How Information Is Used

MedSend may use your information to complete a transaction or to issue you an income tax receipt for a donation.  Credit card numbers provided by phone are used only for donation or payment processing and are not retained for other purposes.  Most credit card donations are done online directly by the donor utilizing the Network for Good donation platform, which is subject to its own privacy policy.  Network for Good’s policy states in part:  “Network for Good respects and protects your privacy and will never sell, trade or rent your personal information to other individuals or companies.  The information that you provide is used only to complete your donation.”  (Their complete privacy policy can be found at: .)

MedSend may also use the personal information you provide to update you on ministry projects and activities and communicate back to you.  In the case of a grant applicant, MedSend may use this information to help you create a unique online application account.

To the extent permitted by law, we may disclose information when required by law, court order, or other government or law enforcement authority or regulatory agency; or whenever we believe that disclosing such information is necessary or advisable, for example, to detect, investigate or prevent activities that may violate our policies or be illegal.

Removing Your Name From Our Mailing List

MedSend’s website gives you the opportunity to remove your name (opt-out) from our mailing lists.  If you desire to remove your name, please go to the “Contact Us” link at the bottom of the page on our website.  Use the “Contact Us” email form provided.  Please put “remove me from your mailing list” in the “Your Message” section and indicate if you want to be removed from electronic mailings, hard copy mailings or both.  You are also able to manage control of email communications by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link located on the bottom of any MEDSEND email.  We use commercially available and other reasonable efforts to process “unsubscribe” requests in a timely manner.  You may also email us at or call us at 203-891-8223.

If you determine that information in our database is inaccurate or has changed, you may modify the previously provided information by using the same browser-based web email form on our Contact Us page.

Security Policy

MedSend has taken appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information.  Once MedSend receives your information, it is accessible only to a small number of MedSend staff who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our services.

Links To Third-Party Websites And/Or Third-Party Applications

To allow you to interact with third-party websites on which you may have accounts (such as social media websites like Facebook) or join communities on such websites, we may provide links or embed third-party applications that allow you to log in, post content, or join communities from our website.  We may also provide you with general links to third-party websites.  These third-party websites have their own privacy policies.  MedSend has no control over the privacy practices or the content of those websites and is, therefore, not responsible for the content or the privacy policies of those third-party websites.  You should always check the applicable third-party privacy policy and terms of use when visiting any other websites.

Changes To The Privacy Policy

By providing MedSend with your personal information, you agree to accept this privacy policy and are aware that the privacy policy of MedSend may change from time to time. MedSend reserves the right to make changes to this policy at its sole discretion and at any time. We strongly advise you to review this policy for updates when accessing our website.
