Lifelong Global Impact

Students at Hope Africa

In April of 2023, MedSend celebrated 30 years of ministry in healthcare missions at Museum of the Bible in Washington, DC. One of our special guests and featured speakers was Dr. Boaz Niyinyumva, a National Scholar family medicine graduate from Burundi who is doing incredible work transforming the healthcare system in his home country.

[Healthcare missionaries] are doing a good job, but they cannot do everything by themselves. We can make a lifelong impact…by bringing more locals into the healthcare system,” Dr. Niyinyumva emphasizes.

He believes innovative solutions like MedSend’s National Scholars program are the key to lasting global impact for those who seek to reach the unreached with quality healthcare and the gospel. Watch his message below:

It’s through [your] support that today I am who I am, and that I’m able to go back to Burundi to be who I will be to the Burundian people…I am a living testimony that your support to MedSend is not in vain.”

MedSend’s National Scholars program equips nationals with medical skills and spiritual wisdom, creating a lasting impact in their communities. Be a catalyst for enduring change. Support MedSend and build a healthier, hope-filled world.
