MedSend CEO Rick Allen to Lead Medical Missions Panel
MedSend CEO Rick Allen will lead a panel entitled, “The Future of Medical Missions and Medical Workers,” hosted by Medical Benevolence Foundation (MBF) on February 16th at 7 PM EST.
Allen will speak about the changes that are occurring in the mission field. He will explain how they impact medical professionals who wish to serve in lower-resourced countries. He will also address trends that MedSend is seeing with availability to serve, infrastructure challenges, and support to the field.
MBF is an independent non-profit organization working with individuals and churches throughout the United States. Their goal is to give hope and healing to the poor around the globe, following Christ’s mandate to heal the sick and proclaim the gospel.
Their model is to equip the medical ministry of the Church in countries around the world in ways that create long-term self-sufficiency.
