
Nairy Ohanian, DMin, MATS
Nairy is a Cross Cultural Pastoral Counselor serving with Barnabas International.
She has been serving in global missions for the last 30 years. Most recently she was based in Egypt providing pastoral counseling. Her missions career has been primarily in Middle East cultures including Armenia, Lebanon and Turkey.
Before serving in Member Care she was involved in university student outreach and church planting. Nairy loves providing pastoral care and spiritual renewal for global workers as they go through various challenges and stages of their calling. She has taught and written numerous articles on Member Care issues such as; Stress and Burnout, Cultural Adjustment, Grief, Loss and Transitions, Singleness and Sexuality, Theology of Suffering, Sabbath Rest, Work Life Balance, Ministry Failure, Self-Care, Loneliness, Spiritual Rhythms, Re-Entry, and more. She holds graduate degrees from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and Columbia International University. For renewal and self-care Nairy enjoys fitness, biking, table-tennis, painting watercolors and lingering in art museums.
