Welcome to The Longevity Project

Congratulations on choosing to participate in The Longevity Project 2.0 Pilot!  We hope that this program proves to be a blessing to you and your family. We are only offering participation to a small group of healthcare missionaries this first year; so your involvement and full participation is so important to the success of the pilot.

We've designed The Longevity Project as a multi-component set of programs to help you thrive at every stage of service as a healthcare missionary.  You get to choose which programs would be most helpful for you.

This website is intended to help share details of the program, which is an entirely new initiative.   Please take some time to review, if there are questions, comments or suggestions please share with Kim at kimberly@medsend.org.

Now that you are officially participating in the pilot and have paid your annual grant fee, you may begin planning how to utilize your grant.

Remember, July 1, 2023 is the activation date!

There are 9 offerings available in the standard plan and 2 services available for the additional fee.  We've created a dropdown below, which outlines the offerings with descriptions and partners.  Kim (kimberly@medsend.org) will assist you with connecting to our service providers to set appointments and begin using their services.

The Grant

We've created a drop down of all of the services and our partners who are offering their talents and gifts to support the program.

*These more expensive components are available for an additional fee.

The Longevity Project Costs

This is the place to find more details about costs and how to use your grant.

Our Explore page has all of the details about the costs, your fees and your grant amount based on your unit, or family size.  This is a good reference page when you have questions or need a reminder.

The Extended Debrief, depending on the resource you choose, can be expensive.  The Extended Debrief, which is available at an additional cost from the basic plan is meant to assist or supplement the payment, not cover the entire costs.  The recommendation is to plan for or consider an Extended Debrief every four years, unless there is an extenuating circumstance.

For those of you who have attended, a MedRefresh Retreat is an experience like none other!  The recommendation is to plan for you and your family to attend a MedRefresh Retreat every two years.  Our plan is to host one in the United States in the autumn and one in the Spring in Europe.

Below is a guideline for costs through our Service Providers:

Annual Check-Up with Valeo - 1 assessment is $100

Spiritual Director with Barnabas - 1 session is $75 per hour

The Global Perspectives Online Course is $150 - one time fee
