About MedSend
Home / About Us
Our Vision
To reach the world with compassionate care and the love of Christ by empowering committed, Christ-following healthcare professionals to minister to and effectively care for those in the least served areas of the world.
Our Mission
In partnership with key Christian ministries, our mission is to strategically fund qualified healthcare professionals to serve the physical and spiritual needs of people around the world.
Our Values
We seek to share the love of Christ through the administration of healthcare and the sharing of His Word with all people regardless of beliefs, behaviors, or principles. As an organization, we are committed to ethical and moral behaviors that conform to biblical norms.
Pathways: A
Mission of Healing and Hope →
The global disparity in healthcare is a grave injustice. As compassionate Christ-followers, it’s heartbreaking to see communities struggle without access to healthcare, or knowledge of Jesus. In places where resources are scarce, we embrace the opportunity to meet individuals through holistic care - both medically and spiritually.Â
With decades of experience in healthcare missions, MedSend stands ready to empower Christian healthcare professionals to heal bodies and offer hope.
We approach the global healthcare crisis through two main pathways:

US Healthcare Professionals Pathway
MedSend's provides a way for US healthcare professionals to bypass financial barriers tied to their education, allowing them to work in underserved areas. The Longevity Project then ensures their well-being, providing holistic support that covers professional, spiritual, and relational health.

CHRISTIAN NATIONALS
PATHWAY
We equip nationals across Asia and Africa with vital medical skills, fostering their ability to heal bodies and share Jesus within their own communities and beyond.
Here’s how we create pathways for change together:
Partner with MedSend
Your generous support fuels the mission to reach the unreached with healthcare and spiritual healing.
Create Pathways
We then utilize your contributions to activate both US and National Pathways, ensuring medical professionals are equipped and sustained.
Transform Lives
Together, we create a ripple effect of transformation, bringing healthcare to the sick, and spreading the love of Christ.
Join us in this crucial mission.
If we do nothing, countless lives will go on in pain and hardship, without ever experiencing the healing touch of medical care or being shown the way to Jesus. And medical missionaries, ready to be deployed as a vital bridge to unreached areas, will remain held back by financial hurdles and burnout. But with your help, we can change this narrative.
When you partner with MedSend, we break down barriers to create a sustainable solution, bridging gaps between generations and cultures. Access to healthcare. Access to hope. Together, we mobilize a movement driven by love and compassion.

Our History
Founded in 1992
MedSend has empowered more than 700 healthcare professionals serving in areas of deep physical and spiritual need by alleviating the burden of student loan debt. As healthcare providers, they are welcomed where others are not. MedSend grant recipients staff and run hospitals and clinics, usually involving the training and mentoring of Christian nationals into professional roles serving their own people. MedSend’s involvement around the world is transforming individuals, communities, and national healthcare systems through education programs and in conjunction with Ministers of Health.
Launched in 2013
The MedSend National Scholars Program is a groundbreaking effort, helping national believers obtain advanced medical training and biblically based mentoring. With this training, they can provide care for and share the Gospel with those who are poor and underserved within their home countries.
2023
MedSend officially added The Longevity Project, a program that protects the professional, relational, and spiritual health of MedSend grant recipients to ensure their resilience on the field. The Longevity Project is an innovative way of caring for missionaries designed to provide an opportunity for self-care. We give the participants a financial grant subsidized by donors, which they apply confidentially to trusted partner organizations we have identified and vetted.
In the Spring of 2024
MedSend awarded its first Launch Project grants to graduated National Scholars seeking missionary work in rural and underserved areas of Africa and Asia. The Launch Project subsidizes the graduate’s salary for three years as they transition into raising their own support.

Statement of Faith
We believe:
In one all-powerful God who exists eternally in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – and who is the creator, ruler and sustainer of everything that exists.
In Jesus Christ, the one and only Son of God, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin as the only being who is both fully God and fully human. He led a sinless life, but willingly took on Himself all our sins and our due punishment through His sacrificial death on the cross. He rose bodily from death and ascended into heaven where He is seated at the right hand of the Father as our mediator and advocate while we look forward to His return someday to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
In the presence and power of the Holy Spirit, who is co-equal with the Father and the Son. He is present in the world to make people aware of their sins and their need for Jesus. He empowers those who follow Christ to love and obey God, to understand spiritual truth and to serve Him through work and witnessing.
In the Bible as the Word of God, which was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. Because it is inspired by God, it is without error and it is the ultimate and absolute source of truth for Christian beliefs and living.
In salvation, which is God’s free gift to us. It means that by believing in Jesus Christ as Savior – and Jesus Christ only – all people everywhere can be adopted into God’s family and receive eternal life. Salvation is necessary because, although God loves us dearly and created us in His image, we all sin or fall short of God’s standards. But if we ask Jesus to forgive us and accept His offer to pay the penalty for our sins, we are reconciled with God forever. Those who do not accept Jesus’ offer will be judged by God for their sins and eternally separated from Him.
In the church, which is made up of all those who believe in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Jesus has called the church to be His witnesses, and through the Holy Spirit, He empowers them to heal the sick, to care for the poor, and to make disciples of all nations; baptizing them and teaching them to observe all things He has commanded.
