Walk the historic Camino de Santiago alongside fellow MedSend donors and several of our Grant Recipients for a unique, life-enriching experience.
This pilgrimage offers a chance to:
- Slow down, step away from the busyness of life, and reconnect with God, nature, others, and your purpose.
- Walk together physically and spiritually, hearing stories from the mission field and seeing the impact of your partnership.
- Reflect deeply, using the pilgrimage pace for Scripture, meditation, and prayer.
- Renew your heart, witnessing how your generosity touches real lives, supports families, and spreads hope across the globe.

CaminoQuest will guide us—handling lodging, meals, daily reflections, and spiritual direction—so you can focus fully on the journey. Follow ancient trails, take in breathtaking vistas, and experience quiet moments that speak louder than words.

Travel Tip for a Smooth Start
To help you prepare for the pilgrimage, it can be beneficial to arrive a day or two early to allow your body to adjust to the time change. As a side note, we will meet our tour guide in Santiago de Compostela and be transported together to Sarria to begin the pilgrimage. Here are a few travel options to consider:
Option 1
Arriving in Madrid (MAD)
Madrid is a major hub and may offer the best flight prices. Travelers can spend a few days sightseeing and acclimating to the time difference. From Madrid, there are two main options to reach Santiago:

Flight:Â A national flight to Santiago (SCQ) takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Train:Â The fast train to Santiago de Compostela takes approximately 3 hours.
Option 2
Arriving Directly to Santiago de Compostela (SCQ)
Arriving directly is the closest option to our starting point, allowing travelers to spend 1–2 days in Santiago before the trip.
Option 3
Arriving at Porto, Portugal (OPO)
