The Longevity Project kids from around the world share their artwork which celebrates the creativity, resilience, and beauty of family life on the field. Each piece tells a story of adventure, faith, and belonging through the eyes of our youngest global workers.
Behind every drawing is a family serving far from home so others can receive care, comfort, and the love of Christ. Join them in the work by giving today and help us reach our goal of 102 Giving Tuesday gifts in honor of our Longevity Project families.

The African Spotted Hyena
“For dust you are, And to dust you shall return.” Genesis 3:19b

John 10:7
I read this verse recently in my Bible study with my brother, Justus, and we both really liked it. When I drew this picture, I thought of this because of the sheep and the shepherd. Even since before His birth, Jesus has always been our Shepherd.

Veggie Lady
This drawing depicts one of the brightly-skirted vegetable sellers from our local market, drawn freehand using pencil and colored pencil on paper.

Psalm 139:8-10
If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn and settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.

2 Chronicles 5:13
“For He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever.”
I chose this verse because, like the Siamese cat protected by the harsh cold outside, we are protected by God's steadfast love forever.
I drew a beautiful snowy landscape with the Christmas lights and Christmas trees, but also includes aspects of my life in [country of service] by drawing a Siamese cat and Asian Gate upon the hill. The Siamese cat, highly valued here, is enjoying the view from her warm, cozy house.

Genesis 1:27a
"She love the knowledge that she and each of siblings is designed in a unique way by our Heavenly Father."
This drawing includes "H" and her 4 siblings, each enjoying their favorite activity.

John 10:7
I really liked this verse when I studied it with my brother, Joaquin. I like it so much I wanted to draw a picture of sheep with a shepherd. Jesus is my Shepherd too!

Isaiah 40:8
The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.
"This flower is our version of the Poinsettia. The African version of the Poinsettia: The Hibiscus"

Zachariah 4:10a
Gnomes are so small and cute, but when they are used at Christmas to decorate, they bring a lot of joy to those who see them.

John 21:18-19
Truly, truly, I say to you, when you were young, you used to dress yourself and walk wherever you wanted, but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will dress you and carry you where you do not want to go. (This he said to show by what kind of death he was to glorify God.) And after saying this he said to him, "Follow me."

Life Along the Nile (the Blue Nile originates in Ethiopia and joins with the White Nile to form the Bile River. Pictured are acacia trees, mud houses with grass roofs, a traditional Ethiopian Orthodox cross in the style of a famous rock-hewn church in Lalibela, and a crocodile.

The person in the top right is returning home, bringing his sheaves with him with joy. He has sown seeds and they grew, and some are continuing to grow, even in this barren land.
He who goes out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him. Psalm 126:6

Red-Cheeked Cordon Bleu at Sunset (these birds are often at the feeder outside our kitchen window)
Ruth 1:16
But Ruth said, "Do not urge me to leave you or to return from following you. For where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God my God.
