Physician Assistant
Derek Webber has served cross-culturally for more than 15 years and has been serving with Serge in East Africa for the past 12 years. He currently serves in Chogoria, Kenya, where he partners with PCEA Chogoria Hospital to bring hope and healing to communities across central Kenya. Derek serves as a Physician Assistant in the hospital’s Casualty Department, where he consults with Clinical Officers, leads clinical training for staff, and co-leads ACLS, BLS, and PALS training programs throughout the hospital. In addition to his medical work, Derek and his wife partner with the hospital chaplains to encourage their ministry and support outreach efforts both within the hospital and in the surrounding community. His wife also co-leads Chogoria Mission School, a homeschool cooperative that serves missionary families, and is actively involved in ministry through hospitality and children’s outreach in the local community. Together, Derek and his wife are raising their four children while faithfully serving and supporting the people of Chogoria.
