Young Boy Receives Life Changing Operation

Axt_Blog_650x454

This young boy has suffered 10 years of massive abdominal distention because of an inadequate childhood operation. As a result, he has been unable to live normally or go to school.

MedSend grant recipient Jason Axt and his surgical team at AIC Kijabe Hospital in Kenya will work to reverse this damage and get this young boy back to school.

In addition, Dr. Axt and his team will teach at least 5 other national physicians what should have been done in this young boy’s original care, saving future patients from the suffering he’s endured.

On behalf of Dr. Axt and his team, we thank you for your support in bringing quality, compassionate healthcare to the most underserved nations of the world!
