Rosita_FB_LI_After

Last December we introduced you to Baby Rosita and grant recipient Amie Bockstahler, RN, serving in Guatemala. Baby Rosita was born with a cleft lip and palate and was not able to eat and gain weight when Amie met her and her family.

Amie recently reached out to MedSend with an important update on Baby Rosita, who just turned one year old:

“It’s so exciting to let you know that Rosita has had her first surgery to repair her cleft lip! She is doing great, and it’s been wonderful to see her grow and develop! Once she is a little bit older, her cleft palate will also be repaired,” Amie shares.

Amie continues to be a source of light and hope in Guatemala City. She is committed to improving the quality of life of the community through improved physical health and through the comfort and encouragement of faith she brings to everyone she meets.

Join us in our mission to bring compassionate care and the love of Jesus to under-served and under-reached communities. With your help healthcare missionaries like Amie can continue to save lives and bring hope.
